Debit+Credit on Mac OS X 10.9 Mavericks
  • We're aware of a problem affecting our Debit+Credit users running on 10.9 Mavericks. A fix is being prepared and we're hoping to have it ready and approved by the end of next week. We apologize for the inconvenience!
  • Thanks for the good news. Could it be possible that Economacs has not the same problems? And a second question: Is it possible to import Debit&Credit in Economacs, despite the fact, that the name of the files are different? .bok - .dnc
  • Economacs doesn't have this issue. We fixed this in Economacs while Mavericks was in early beta, and unfortunately forgot to do the same in Debit+Credit. When we started testing Economacs in Mavericks prior to release, the only issue we found was one that wouldn't be able to affect Debit+Credit, which made us conclude that no immediate release was required.
  • UPDATE: The fix was submitted to Apple a week ago. Average waiting time for review is less than a week, so I hope that it will be approved any day now.
  • Thanks Erik, hopefully they will process quickly.

If a Debit + Credit user upgrades to Economacs, can the D+C data be used/imported, or would it all need to be re-entered?
  • The D+C data can be opened in Economacs, by renaming the file to have a ".bok" extension.

Still no change in review status, I'm afraid.
  • Thank you - something to consider if they don't update soon :-)
  • The update is now approved.
